On Wednesday, members of our Bank celebrated another successful year with our annual Holiday Office Party. Catering was provided by our friends at R Macs and Giambri’s. The food was fantastic and the desserts were delectable! We capped off the night with a game that sent everyone home with a unique gift card! A wonderful night indeed!

Director Dennis Helmer and the Marine Corps League Detachment 1775 came to pick up our customers’ donations for the Toys for Tots program. Our boxes were overflowing with your gifts! Giving Back – Cathedral Kitchen!

At Audubon Savings Bank, community is always a top priority! On Thursday, members of our Admin staff made PB&J sandwiches to give to our friends at Cathedral Kitchen in Camden. In total, they made over 200 sandwiches! Thanks to all staff who participated, and to Beatriz and Kate for bringing the sandwiches over to Cathedral Kitchen!

Audubon Savings Bank would like to congratulate our home team at Audubon High School and the Green Wave Varsity girls soccer team for winning the South Jersey Group 1 Championship! How awesome is that?!

We believe that educated customers are better-protected customers.

The following are best practices that customers can follow to increase their personal and financial information security:

Use Personal Financial Information and Financial Services Passwords Only in Secure Transactions

• Personal financial information (such as names in combination with Social Security Numbers, account numbers, and credit or debit card numbers) and passwords for financial services (such as online and mobile banking / payments, and person-to-person payments) should only be used in secure transactions (using the practices described below).

• Personal financial information and passwords for financial services should not be provided in response to unfamiliar or suspicious websites, emails, text messages, telephone calls, mobile phone applications or social media messages.

• If you provide financial information and passwords for financial services in response to unfamiliar or suspicious websites, emails, text messages, telephone calls, mobile phone applications or social media messages, you should change your passwords as quickly as possible.

Use Strong Passwords in All Systems That Require Passwords

• Passwords should use the maximum allowable number and type of characters (such as upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols) and should not contain predictable terms or numbers.

• A different password should be used for each commercial and financial services website.

• Passwords should not be written down or recorded and should not be placed in visible or unsecured locations.

• Passwords should be changed at least monthly.

Monitor Credit Accounts

• Credit accounts and reports should be monitored regularly. Any unauthorized or suspicious activity should be reported promptly to the appropriate financial institution, card issuer, local law enforcement agency or the Federal Trade Commission (877-438-4338, or online at www.consumer.gov).

• As a precaution, you may choose to place a fraud alert on your credit file. A fraud alert will notify you before unauthorized third parties open new accounts in your name or charge existing accounts in your name. This can be done at no charge to you. To receive fraud alerts, contact Equifax® (800-525-6285), Experian® (888-397-3742) or TransUnion® (800-680-7289).

Supporting Cathedral Kitchen!

Audubon Savings Bank continues to support our great communities! On August 6th with the help of our Audubon Branch Manager Donna Salvia, our Bank presented a check to our friends at Cathedral Kitchen in Camden as part of our first Jean Fridays this summer! For every staff member who made a donation, they were entitled to wear Jeans every Friday from Memorial Day to Labor Day! It was an exciting opportunity for our Bank, and it all went to a great cause.

Audubon Savings Bank is excited to provide our Bill Pay customers with enhanced feature functionality. Upgraded features include the following:
  • Pay Virtually Anyone. The local bakery, a Fortune 500 Company…even your babysitter.
  • Same Day/Next Day Payments. Payments can often be received in as little as one business day, even that same afternoon, if necessary. Fees may apply with this service.
  • Group Payments into Categories. Organize your utilities, cable and phone into a folder named household.
  • Account to Account Transfers. Even accounts at other financial institutions. Your money is always available, regardless of where you keep it.
  • Receive eBills. Green, more convenient, more secure and easier to manage.
  • Reminders. Receive updates through email when you receive a bill, or when it’s due.
  • Automatic Payments. Great for bills that stay the same each month, like your rent and your car loan.
  • Search Bill History. Search by company, date and status, the moment you need an answer, wherever you are.
  • Message Center. Get quick answers to questions you might have.
  • Completely safe. More secure than mailing paper checks.
During this upgrade, our Bill Pay service will be unavailable from Tuesday afternoon, July 22, 2014, through Thursday morning, July 24, 2014. Any payments that are already scheduled will process normally, including payments scheduled during the upgrade period.

To ensure a smooth transition, please consider the following important items:
  • Bill Pay History will be transferred to the new system. For your records, you will need to print or download your Bill Pay history before Tuesday afternoon, July 22, 2014.
  • All your payees and all scheduled bill payments will be automatically transferred to the new Bill Pay service.
  • Any payments that are already scheduled will process normally, including payments scheduled during the upgrade period. There is no need to reschedule any of your payments.
  • Remember, our Bill Pay service will be unavailable from Tuesday afternoon, July 22, 2014, through Thursday morning, July 24, 2014.
